How To Talk Like A Millionaire? -Part 3

No ‘But’. Whatever comes after the ‘but’ are the circumstances, reasons, excuses or limiting beliefs. Circumstances are never bigger than what they want. Economy bad, fierce competition or not enough money are NOT BIG ENOUGH TO STOP THEM. When they don’t have money to start a business or grow their business, they never say “Not enough money, I stop from here.” They say “Not enough money is too small to stop me being success or making a difference, I will handle it and move on.” They also say “I have this circumstances and I will deal with it by (date).”

No complaints. Millionaires are people who don’t complaints. They know complain will only cause problems to grow bigger. Complain makes things worse by causing everyone feel bad including him or herself. After complaining, everyone feel bad and no one have the power to face the problem. They also know that “Complain is the easiest and most comfortable way to deal with problems, because all they need to do is put the blame on others and DO NOTHING!” When you see someone complain, you will immediately feel he/she is irresponsible and no power in his/her speaking.

No righteousness. Millionaires understanding that being righteous never work in speaking. When someone is always right, you will realize you don’t like to listen to him/her. You might feel “Whatever he says, he will think that it is right. Whatever new ideas we contribute, he will never accept because his idea is always right!” People get bored and feel tired to listen to these people. When a millionaire speaks about his idea and point of view, he is open and he listens to others’ contribution. When someone says he is wrong, he thank that person and encourages him to do it often. To him, achieving goals and dreams are more important than being right.

Speak to create win-win. A millionaire wants everyone to win including himself. He will not sacrifice someone to win or sacrifice himself for someone. When someone in his team did some mistakes, he will let him see how he can do it better next time and let that person feel proud he discovers something new. That person is empowered by discovering something, his team is more effective and he gets to reach his goal faster. Win-win-win. His speaking become effective and benefits everyone.
