How To Use The Law Of Attraction? *new*
From the last post, I shared that there are many people who are not benefiting from the law of attraction. I also shared that lots of people prefer to complain than being responsible for attracting the bad things that happen in life.
This post will be the improved version of applying the law of attraction. It will be 10 to 100 times more powerful than the old version of how to use the law of attraction.
How to use the Law of Attraction?
Step 1: Realize That You Are Responsible For Everything
This will be the first step and the most powerful step of applying the law of attraction. Start to realize “Everything that is happening in your life is attracted by you.” Don’t try to resist, just realize it. This includes the good things that happen to your life and the bad things.
The reason of doing this is simple- To realize the power of law of attraction. The access to the power of the law of attraction is to realize you are already using it to attract everything in your life.
Before I get to know about the law of attraction, I always complain about my mother’s nagging. Whenever she sees me, she will nag about my desk and my business. The more I complain, the more ‘nags’ I will get from her. I stop complaining because I know the more I complain, the more I will attract. So, I start being responsible and realize I was attracting nagging from her…
I realize I attract her ‘nags’ unconsciously. I realize that I always visualize she will nag me just one minute before I walk in from the door to see her. I will get emotional from the image I formed in my mind. So, what I will get the next thing when I see her is nagging. I already visualize it and experience enough emotions to attract it.
When I realize that, I stop that way of thinking my mother before entering the door. I start to visualize more about she being grateful and happy for me coming back home. As a result of doing that, she became grateful and happy every time I came home. Her friends and employees told me she has changed a lot. I was happy that I realize I attracted her nagging and be responsible to change it.
Start to realize everything that happened in your life is attracted by you. Only realizing that, you will be able to stop attracting that and attract something different. List down all the bad things that are happening in your life and see how you are attracting it in an unconscious way.
Step 2: Get Clear What You Want
If you are clear of what you want, it will be easy to use the law of attraction. One of the practice is to picture you already have what you want in your mind. If you are clear and sure you want something, it’s effortless to picture in your mind.
For example, you want $10,000 passive income per month. This is a clear goal you want in your life. You can easily picture the lifestyle, car, house, family and the happiness when you have that income. If you have unclear wants such as “more money”, you can’t picture those easily and the practice will be tough. You can use the following list to get clear of what you want:
1. Health. How much weight you want to lose? What kind of disease you want to recover from? What kind of muscle shape for your body?
2. Family. What kind of relationship you want to have with them? How much time you want to spend with them? When you are going to bring them for trip?
3. Self. What habit/ mindset/ attitude you want to improve? How you want to improve spiritually?
4. Love Relationship. What relationship you want to have with the one you love or spouse? What you promise yourself to do for him/her?
5. Wealth. How much money you want to have? How much income you want per month?
6. Business. How much sales you want? How much is the net worth of the business that you want? Etc.
7. Friends and Community. How much friends you want to have? What kind of relationship you want to have with them? What you want to contribute to your community?
8. Making A Difference. What difference you want to make? (Not necessary about charity or donation. You can make a difference to your customers, family or friends by giving your support and care. Make this as an habit of yours and start to be generous.)
Step 3: Be Grateful Of Whatever You Have Right Now.
This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring way for me to practice how to use the law of attraction.
We are not trained to visualize things that we don’t have or things that haven’t happened yet. When something happen in our life, our mind will automatically repeat the thoughts again. For example: When I see my wallet is empty, my mind will automatically repeat the picture of my wallet is empty in my mind again. That thought generate negative emotions and send out to the universe. It only attract more results of my wallet getting empty.
The access to control our thought is Gratitude! If we want to train ourselves in visualizing the future, the key is gratitude. When you start to be grateful of what you have, you immediately get present to what you have and not what happen right now. It takes practice to be a master of gratitude but once you master it, you will get to practice visualization effortlessly.
Gratitude allows us to continue attract what we already have and make the visualization practice a lot easy. Every morning, spend 5 minutes to practice gratitude. Use the following sentence:
“I am happy and grateful for having a house.”
“I am happy and grateful for having my own business.”
“I am happy and grateful for having……”
Step 4: Visualize it and add in your emotions.
This is one of the formulas on how to use the law of attraction:
Thoughts + Emotion = Attraction
After getting clear of what you want, you don’t just send out one small vibration. Send out a powerful vibration that can attract what you want faster and send it out consistently. One little drop of water to the pond will create a small wave and disappear. But a consistent big drop of water into a pond will alter the vibration forever.
According to the formula, first you need to send out thoughts. What kind of thoughts?
Thoughts you visualize in your mind. Picture in your mind that “Everything you want is already with you”. Picture how your life will be and how do you feel after you have what you want.
For example, I want to have $10,000 per month passive income. I visualize in my mind “I already have $10,000 per month passive income now. I feel happy and grateful. I can have a great lifestyle with my family and everyday……”
The example I gave already include thoughts you already have what you want and the emotions after having what you want. All you have to visualize it for 5 minutes every morning, after lunch and before sleep.
Step 5: Take Inspiring Action.
Law of attraction is definitely not a day dreaming process. Things won’t happen and what you want doesn’t fall from the sky. Work your goals out and plan what you need to do. Then, take actions that you are inspired.
If I want $10,000 per month passive income, I probably need to start a business or anything that inspires me. Some people might think of “I thought law of attraction is about getting what I want without doing anything.”
I’m going to disappoint you if you have that thought.
Your thought is not that powerful that you can attract someone to knock your door and give you $10,000 cash. It is powerful but not that powerful. If you still remember when I explain about Law of Attraction in Part 2, I shared this:
Vibration you send out will:
1. Vibrate the way you think things. You will start to think all kinds of possible way to get 1 million into your bank account.
2. Vibrate your body. You will start to have a body which is capable to act what you plan to do to get that 1 million in your mind.
3. Vibrate people around you. People will experience you in a different way and support you in many ways for you to achieve that money.
4. Vibrate things to come to you. Things like books, mentors, partners, car, note book, etc. Whatever things that will help you to achieve that 1 million.
5. Vibrate many other things.
Take action!
You’ll realize your action will be much smoother, easier and more positive than the past.
Step 6: Allowing it.
Allowing it might be one of the hardest parts on how to use the law of attraction. People who practice visualization might have expectation when it will come true and how fast they will get it. When they didn’t get what they expect, they start to feel frustrated, angry and disappointed. These are strong emotions that attract more of what they are facing right now.
To practice allowing, you need to stop expecting. When you stop expecting when or how fast you will get what you want, your attachment to results will disappear and you will only send positive emotions and attract what you want faster.
Next is to allow both ways to happen. You got to allow the situation that you might get it and you might not get it. Before you achieve $10,000 per month, there might be 5 years you are not getting that income. What are you going to feel with those 1826 days? Get upset it is happening the other way? Accept it and you will be able to let go your attachment.
So, the key to allowing is Stop Expecting and Accepting.
Step 7: Do It Often And Consistently.
The power of the law of attraction is only powerful when you do it consistently. I used the pond example just now and shared with you how fast the vibration one little drop of water will disappear. Repeat the 6 steps everyday.
1. Realize you are responsible for everything
2. Get clear what you want.
3. Be grateful what you have right now.
4. Visualize it and add in emotions.
5. Take Inspiring Actions.
6. Allowing it.
7. Do it often and consistently.
